5 NCLEX  Register  Pay $200  Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt of Registration  Receive ATT Remember, the SBN verifies you are eligible to take NCLEX, so if there are any “issues” or your licensure application is incomplete, this will take longer.  Schedule your exam Can take ANYwhere – does NOT have to be in the same state as licensure

6 State Board of Nursing (Licensure) Links for all of the State Boards of Nursing in the United States https://www.ncsbn.org/contactbon.htm

7 Licensure Visit that state’s SBN website for detailed information and instructions.

This is usually completed the Friday after the graduation ceremony.

9 Licensure – All Other States https://www.ncsbn.org/contactbon.htm Locate your state board of nursing’s website Read and follow instructions carefully Anything needed from the CON should be completed and submitted to Michelle Henrish as soon as possible with very specific instructions - Education Verification Letters - Forms requiring the Dean’s signature - Forms requiring a University seal - Verification of clinical hours - Mailing addresses - Your contact information (phone and email)

Student (out of state) receives email confirmation from CON that your application request has been completed Letters, confirmations, transcripts (if sent to CON), etc., are mailed/submitted per your instructions Remember! To be successful you must follow your Virtual ATI coach’s recommendations. When you have completed their recommendations and are ready, you will receive a “Green Light” to test.

13 Helpful Tips and Notes Education Program Code – PA - US25400200 Other States – 25-402 There are NO refunds of NCLEX fees for ANY reason All correspondence from Pearson VUE will arrive ONLY by email Identification and YOUR NAME Use the exact name as it appears on the identification you will use for admittance to the NCLEX – For NCLEX registration AND licensure application Social Security Numbers – Most SBNs will require your full SS# If transcripts are needed, they must be ordered via eLion Make sure to specify after conferral Provide address where it should be mailed Your undecidedness (or lateness) does not become our emergency Allow ample time for form completion, signatures, seals, etc. When in doubt, or if you have questions – Call the SBN The CON staff cannot provide licensure application information
