4 Slavery Why did this practice come to America? THIS PRACTICE CAME BECAUSE THE INSTATUTSHON OF SLAVERY, AFRICANS WERE BROUGHT THERE AGAINST THERE WILL. Which region became most dependent upon it and why? The Southern colonies because slaves were brought there against there will.

They all had a different religion New England: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode island Middle colonies: There was more religious freedom in the middle colonies than in new England Southern colonies: The climate of the southern colonies was the warmest climate of the 13 colonies

7 Family Shelter There houses look the same as ours today.

8 Costume Woman: Cape, gown, quilted petticoat. Men: trade coat, waistcoat, shirt etc.

9 Education Boys went to school but girls did not Boys when to school to practice religious believes They were taught Latin, math, and other subjects.

10 Food People who lived on the Atlantic ocean often caught fish to eat. Farmers would grow wheat, barley, corn, tobacco, and rice and would have that as food.
