2. Extracted from coca leaves, cocaine is made by combining the powder with cornstarch, talcum powder, sugar or other drugs such as procaine and amphetamine. It can be in the form of liquids, powders or crystals.

3.  Cocaine is usually sniffed so the powder can be absorbed into the bloodstream through the nasal tissues.  You can eat it, rub it into the gums or inject it for a faster reaction, but that will increase the risk of an overdose.  Some people smoke it as vapor to reduce the risk.

5.  The level of addiction on cocaine is so high that most people are hooked after trying it once.  Even though its called “a rich man’s drug”, anyone can buy it, rich or poor.  You can buy it from dealers or people you know who do drugs, because cocaine is one of the cheapest and most trafficked drugs in the world.

6.  No, unless you have a medical permit for it. In Mexico, possession of the drug is semi-legal, but it can only be half a gram or less.
