9 SCHOOL/GALLERY WALK EXPECTATIONS
1. Stay together as a group, at all times, following me. (Where I go, YOU go). 2. You MUST stay quiet, otherwise, we return to the classroom. 3. Use your time wisely to take notes and/or draw.

10 School walk: Write down and draw 6 different objects you observe and number each one.
From around the school, this picture or from your own imagination: *Make a note if you observed someone doing something with the object or was around the object. Example: Mr. Miller was opening the door. Mrs. Coleman was taking someone’s temperature with a thermometer.

11 Write a sentence about each object you observed/drew.
Example: Joseph was standing at the door. Mrs. Marsh was typing on her computer.

12 Identify the nouns in the sentence.
Circle all the nouns in your sentence (common or proper). Example: Joseph was standing at the door. Mrs. Marsh was typing on her computer.

13 Substitute the nouns in the sentence with pronouns, so it makes sense.
Example: Joseph was standing under the door. Mrs. Marsh was writing on her computer. He was standing under it. She was writing on hers.

14 Identify the pronoun(s) you used in each sentence.
