2. WELCOME! Welcome to my classroom! My name is Doug Rulon, and I have been teaching since 2005. I am married to a fourth grade reading teacher and have a little girl named Kaitlin. I’m very excited about the opportunity to learn with your child in our classroom this year! 2

4. CHAMP’s We will follow the CHAMPS guidelines for success this year in math. Your student will know the expectations for each activity. C- Conversation level H- Help A- Activity M- Movement P- Participation 4

5. Supplies  Grid paper  Notebook paper  Compass  Protractor  Ruler (CM and IN)  Everything else will be provided! 5

6. Open Door Policy My classroom is always open to visitors and parents / guardians! Drop in’s are always welcome unless otherwise noted in the weekly newsletter (Testing ect.) 6
