3 GENERAL MAINTENANCE BASE PROCEDURES AND EXPECTATIONS

4 ATTENDANCE POLICY Follow the Company Attendance Policy For more information, refer to the Employee Policy ManualEmployee Policy Manual Arrive in Base and be ready to sign in at the start of your scheduled shift Depart at your scheduled end time

5 CALL-IN PROCEDURE Call the Engineering Support Services Call-In Line (407-939-4800 opt. 2) Leave your call in information including: Your name The date and shift you are calling in for The reason you are calling in (e.g. Call Sick, Call Late, FMLA, etc.) Benefit time to be used, if applicable Calling In For Your Shift

6 On the fifth consecutive work day of calling in sick or FMLA, you must contact Walt Disney World Health Services prior to returning to work. 950 Backstage Lane, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 407-560-7005 (opt. 4 – Leave Management) Open 07:00-21:00 daily CALL-IN PROCEDURE Calling In For Your Shift (5 or More Days)

7 Write down the appropriate call-in notation on the printed schedule at Station 1 Advise the affected shift of the absence when they arrive CALL-IN PROCEDURE Receiving a Notification Call or E-Mail

8 BREAKS AND LUNCHES Each coordinator is allowed two 15-minute breaks and an unpaid 30-minute lunch for an 8-hour shift Breaks should be spaced accordingly to allow for maximum phone coverage and not saved for the last 15 minutes or leaving prior to the scheduled time Combining of breaks and/or lunch is not allowed except for special circumstances

9 TIME OFF REQUESTS Vacations and time off requests are generally granted on a first-come, first-served basis; however your Leader reserves the right to prioritize based on individual needs. Requests can be submitted through the Time Off Request form on the SharePoint – My Schedule page.SharePoint – My Schedule

10 TIME AND PAY ENTRY Coordinators are Self Pay through WorkBrain on The HUB When entering your time, be sure to enter time that was actually worked, deducting your 30-minute lunch Cast Members should record their time worked daily at the end of their shift When using Benefit Time, use the appropriate notation and benefit-type code

11 WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS Every station is a shared workspace. Keep each area clean and organized. Personal items are allowed though they should be kept to a minimum and not cause distraction Treat each other with dignity and respect Abide by all company policies including internet and computer usage, dress code, etc.

12 WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS Follow all procedures found in the Maintenance Base Operating Procedure; contact your Leader or Administrator with any concerns or questions Make every effort to assist each caller to the best of your ability; balance a courteous tone with an efficient work ethic and use your resources

13 WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS Log all alarms and elevator entrapments as soon as possible The televisions in Maintenance Base are to be kept on news and weather channels with the volume turned down and closed captioning on. Watching and/or listening to any other type of broadcast that may distract or interfere with anyone’s work performance is prohibited

14 COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS Keep all emails in the Maintenance Base shared inbox organized and filed appropriately Check your email and the WDW Maintenance Base SharePoint site often for communications, most will be sent and found as Base Bulletins Any requests to change operating procedures must be relayed to your Leader and the Administrator for related documentation to be updated

15 COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS Immediately contact your Leader for any of the following situations: Base Cast Member Call-In or Call-Late Any Base Cast Member who needs to leave work early (Release of Shift or Early Release) Base Cast Member injury (on-the-job) Extensive power outage or property closure Any emergency event that may lead to property damage, closure, or Guest / Cast distress
