6 Summary James Madison is a very interesting president that I have never even thought that I would be interested in him. One of his greatest strengths were that he tried to make peace before being aggressive. For example before going into war he wanted to discus it before declaring war. But one of his greatest weaknesses was one of his greatest strengths. When he was president during the War of 1812 he probably tried to persuade his fellow congressmen to not do this but when it started to happen he didn’t prepare because he want to have peace before war. Overall, James Madison is one of the most interesting presidents I’ve seen.
