7 (5) Types of Protein Polypeptide: –Many amino acids connected by Peptide Bonds –Like Stringing Beads together Enzyme: –Catalysts: Increase Rate of Chemical Reaction –Decrease Activation Energy –Substrate-Enzyme Binding: Substrate = Molecule Enzyme Binds With Active Site = Where the Substrate Binds to Enzyme Enzyme is recycled afterwards
