4. Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 1 st he had two siblings Henry and Rosalie when his mom died in 1811 Edgar was only 2 and before she died she divorced his dad. When Edgar’s mom died he was adopted by a John Allan who was a very rich man. When he was 6 he went to England for school and stayed for 5 years. Poe went to collage and then became a alcoholic. Edgar went in to the army at the age of 18 than he was mystery discharged from the army. Then at a surprised he married his 13 year old cousin at his age of 27. He moved back to new york and tried to make a magazine but it was not working for him.

5. Edgar lost his job and Virginia died in 1847. Young Edgar remarried to Sarah Shelton when his marriage went wrong he left for Baltimore but got on the wrong train on top of that he was found past out by a friend then the next day Edgar Allan Poe was dead.

I think Edgar Poe had alcohol poisoning but you never know because back then if he did have it they wouldn’t be able to know because they don’t have the technology that we do to day so it could have been that or it could have been the drugs because nobody knows what the drugs are going to do to them back then they just think it will take away the pain.

7. I just love horror stories so when I heard that we were going to do Edgar Allan Poe I was so happy. Because he’s the king of scary and I love the “Tell-Tell heart story” it was really scary and “The masque of the red death” was really good to because everybody was scared when the clock went off. The suspense part in tell- tell heart when he said the eye in the old man was bothering him so he had to kill the old man I thought that was pretty good and scary I like that part he confess to killing the old man it was really cool because he was all calm until he herd the old mans heart beat.

8. But one things for sure no man can be as mad as Edgar Allan Poe not even Stephen King.

9. His horrid in his life he had people die and in his story's it shows what he’s gone thought his life. I think I made a connection with his story’s because if it wasn’t for him we would not have scary movies. Yes I did because he puts a lot of sadness in it and it makes the story’s really good like when they cough up blood in the masque of the red death and when the clock struck an hour the people stopped doing every thing and got scared.
