8 Dropout Prevention Strategies rated Exemplary  BISD PD presents to parents and students Garza Elementary Students participate in afterschool tutorials and Saturday academics with innovative learning and hands- on activities.

9 Gifted and Talented Program rated Recognized Students placed 3 rd place in the regional Destination Imagination competition. Chess team has gone to represent BISD for the past three years at the National Chess competition.  DI Team placed third Garza Elementary
