2. Daniel Breeden Fine Arts Program rated Exemplary Fine Arts Program Breeden Elementary students participate in a variety of Fine Arts activities throughout the year, which include Ballroom Dancing, Choir Performances, and Charro Days Festivities.

3. Breeden School Wellness and Physical Education Program rated Exemplary Wellness and Physical Education Breeden Elementary encourages all staff and students to participate in community running and Triathlon events. Breeden was awarded 2 nd place in the district for the American Heart Association Fundraiser.

4. Daniel Breeden Community & Parental Involvement Program rated Exemplary Community and Parental Involvement Program Breeden has the privilege of having a strong and united parental involvement team that assisted with many activities throughout the school year. Community members also took time to meet with students and faculty about various resources available outside the school setting.

5. Daniel Breeden 21 st Century Workforce Development rated Exemplary College & Career Readiness Breeden Elementary students are college bound! This is encouraged through many activities such as “College Awareness Thursdays” and Career Day presentations scheduled each Spring semester.

6. Daniel Breeden Dropout Prevention Strategies rated Exemplary Dropout Prevention Strategies Staff at Breeden is well aware of the high percentage of at-risk students that we serve and we are pro-active in reaching them through the use of digital learning. Programs we highlight are Living with Science, Think Through Math, Study Island and other online data bases. Small group setting for reading enrichment.

7. Daniel Breeden Second Language Acquisition rated Exemplary Second Language Aquisition Breeden students celebrate culture. Our campus emphasizes the importance of the program by highlighting important dates and events such as Charro Days, Cinco de Mayo and Black Heritage Month. Teachers and students fuse their creativity through art projects, parades and through many more engagements on campus.

8. Daniel Breeden Digital Learning Environment rated Exemplary Digital Learning Environment Students at Breeden Elementary use technology to research, to learn, and to discover. Breeden offers a fully capable Wi-Fi campus where more than 300 computers/laptops available to students and staff alike. All classrooms are equipped with the latest MIMIO technology and digital learning is a priority on campus.

9. Daniel Breeden Educational Programs for G/T rated Recognized Gifted and Talented program participants At least 18% of our students served and/or nominated for the GT Program during the 2014- 2015 school year. Our staff is in compliance with TEA expectations of on-going training in the area of G/T.
