17. 1901 In 1901 Stalin joined the Russian Democratic Party. Lenin was his role model who he looked up to.

18. 1912 Lenin sends Stalin to the Bolshevik party.

19. 1917 Stalin was named commissar of Nationalities in 1917.

20. 1922 In 1922 Stalin was named secretary of the communist party.

21. 1928 In 1928 Stalin begins his five year plan to bring Russia to the industrial age. He also became dictator of Russia due to Lenin’s death.

22. 1935 Stalin begins his great purge. He kills anyone that he thinks might be a threat.

23. 1939 Stalin signed the non-agression pact with germany in WWII. In 1941 Germany attacked Russia anyway.

24. 1953 Was at an all night party. Suffered from a stroke and became paralyzed. Died five days later on March 5, 1953
