2 Future Regional Trends, Regional Direction and Cooperation The Global Cybersecurity Agenda is made up of seven main goals:  Advice on potential framework for a global multi-stakeholder strategy for international cooperation, dialogue and coordination in all the above-mentioned areas.  Elaboration of strategies for the development of a model cybercrime legislation that is globally applicable and interoperable with existing national and regional legislative measures.  Elaboration of strategies for the creation of appropriate national and regional organizational structures and policies on cybercrime.  Development of strategies for the creation of a global framework for watch, warning and incident response to ensure cross-border coordination between new and existing initiatives.  Development of a global strategy to facilitate human and institutional capacity- building to enhance knowledge and know-how across sectors and in all the above-mentioned areas.  Development of a strategy for the establishment of globally accepted minimum security criteria and accreditation schemes for software applications and systems.  Development of strategies for the creation and endorsement of a generic and universal digital identity system and the necessary organizational structures to ensure the recognition of digital credentials for individuals across geographical boundaries.

3 Multi-stakeholder strategy for international cooperation, dialogue and coordination in all the above-mentioned areas.  Regular - annual or bi-annual event on cybercrime hosted in Bangladesh & within the region  Personnel exchange strategy  Familiarization with forensic & other technical facilities  Having a national & regional focal point to liaise with other international contacts/agencies  Leveraging of and participation in existing international cooperation mechanisms/forums such as Interpol  Making better utilization of local & regional know-how (such as India from a Bangladesh perspective, Asia-Pacific region with an emphasis on South Asia and Oceania)

4 Strategies for the development of a model cybercrime legislation that is globally applicable and interoperable with existing national and regional legislative measures  Review existing legislation & make necessary amendments if required  Develop operational procedures based on ICT Act 2006 and other legislation  Raise awareness within judicial & legal system of cybercrime issues  Harmonization of legislation to support cooperation among law enforcement agencies  Leveraging from existing international forums to discuss legislative requirements

5 Strategy to facilitate human and institutional capacity-building to enhance knowledge and know-how across sectors and in all the above-mentioned areas.  Utilization of existing regional working party  Media awareness campaign against cybercrime targeting children & youth  Develop national training programmes & strategies  Raising awareness of activities of the national response mechanism e.g CERT & development of their capabilities to respond (in partnership with the private sector)
