3 3 History: Its origin  2007: new government  intensified attention for MDGs  30 June: Schokland event; signing Agreements, a.o. for TVET,  June 2007 – March 2008: developing project proposal  September: approval MoFA  October: initiation

4 4 Point of departure ‏ (2) Learn4Work Improve access to good-quality TVET in developing countries : TVET often marginalised sub sector little attention and budget for TVET few facilities low status main problem: weak link between education and labour market Potential of TVET for development (poverty alleviation) not optimally used
