3 Key Issues/focus  Need to make sure that we attract people to our websites where they are already present Not enough just to put up a website and hope for visitors Needs full support of sales and marketing team  Need to keep existing websites up to date Needs full support of sales and marketing team  Need to have justified approach to develop a website Cannot be ‘nice to have’ Local support needed (language, content management)

4 Tool box - first steps Double sided A4 leaflet to be on display at all events/ training sessions. Any contact with customers/distributors these should be on display/given out. The leaflet has a tear off slip for people to enter their email for the newsletter. Box is available to give more focus, good to use at exhibitions and has compartment to put the filled in slips. ( can work in conjunction with an incentive to get people to register). Could be sent out via distributors to customers etc. Linking to distributor websites inbound and outbound

5 Key reason for people to register Newsletter Success On the 6 th January 2011, we sent a newsletter to the users that had registered on the UK website. According to the leading authority of email marketing metrics the average open rate from email newsletters is 22%. We achieved an open rate of 33% from this sending. We have had over 17,200 visitors to the site since go live. Average time spent on the site 6mins 45 secs.

6 Work completed since last commercial meeting  1st stage of SEO completed for UK.  UK Newsletter created & sent  UK pages amended & updated (twice). – All work that was done since November was lost due to bug in the content system ‘First Spirit’ so this had to be re done.  French professional section live. This took twice as long due to the software bug as had to re do a lot of content.  Greek, Polish & South African pages checked for lost content due to the bug and pages updated (as promised in last meeting)  German & Spanish pages checked for content lost through the bug  Working on processes to increase visits to the website. Hand out, distributors (videos), Links. Start with UK & will roll out after discussions with S/M.

7 What’s next for 2011? Add rural section to the spanish website & ensure PCO section is up to date. - complete Complete the 1 st stage of SEO for the Greek & German website Update German pages - complete Tool box to be available for all countries to increase visits & registrants to all sites. Add rural section back on the polish website, will need adapting Italy PCO section Russian website 4 newsletters to UK registrants (every quarter). 1 st one was sent in January, Next march (PestEx), Q3 & Q4. Develop a process for monitoring & reporting web traffic * Send newsletter from the website for greece & germany
