4. It is a minimum 10-hour workshop in basic academic skills. Quick Start utilizes software to improve skills and measure progress in reading, writing, and mathematics, as well as technology and keyboarding. Work is completed in the Transition Lab, located in the LRC, under direct supervision of an advisor. Students who earn a “P” will receive: 1.) a Continuing Education Unit certificate (CEU). 2.) COMPASS Test waiver to retake/take the test.
