2. What is Methamphetamine? A synthetic drug with more rapid and lasting effects than amphetamine, used illegally as a stimulant and as a prescription drug to treat narcolepsy and maintain blood pressure

3. How is it made? It is made from a very easy recipe and can be cooked and ready in 6 to 8 hours in a meth lab. The main ingredients used in making meth is ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, which are chemicals found in common cold and allergy medicines.

4. Effects Methamphetamine is a highly addictive drug, whether injected, snorted or smoked, that affects the brain and central nervous system. Methamphetamine increase levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, which stimulates brain cells, enhancing mood and body movement. Methamphetamine causes confusion, anxiety, tremors, irritability, and prolonged insomnia. This is after 3 years and 5 months

Only if a person needs a prescription from his or her doctor, and drug refills are not permitted without doctors permission. A person could do time in jail and pay heavy fines if caught selling methamphetamine. If not given a doctors prescription then it is illegal. It is a Federal Law.
