2 Tracing a word in Macbeth Directions You will be assigned a word that appears frequently in Macbeth. Your group is responsible for tracing this word throughout the play. There are often 6 members and 5 Acts, so assign accordingly. You will then discuss and draw conclusions about characters and themes in Macbeth as you share your findings with your group. 3 Connect the themes, characters and ideas Arranged around the room are the main characters in Macbeth Your group will use yesterday’s work to add to each character poster. Each group will have 5 minutes to discuss and add to the character the words and concepts that relate to the listed character. After 5 minutes each group will shift to the right and add information to the next poster. You may add to what the last group wrote down by drawing lines between ideas. How does your word relate to each character? How do other words posted by your peers relate to your word?
