Things we need House t-shirt and correct uniform by end of September please Waterproofs and wellies Contact books- please hand these in every morning- they are a point of contact between home and school Book bag and reading book everyday please Water bottles- your child needs a water bottle- transparent, named and with a sports cap. Water only please.

3. Our class Adults in the classroom- Miss Lake (teacher) and Mrs Fredericks (TA), Mrs Ball (TA on a Wednesday) We are happy to chat to parents- before and after school Behaviour management- children may be given the timer if their behaviour is inappropriate Class rules- please see sheet that will be sent home in journal Routine of the day- Two child initiated sessions a day- where the children ‘choose’ what they would like to do. RWI and literacy session. ‘Teacher directed’ sessions- where children are taught a new skill or consolidate their learning.

4. Our class Fruit groups- children are called in groups to have their snack and a drink Snack time in the afternoon- please could you send in… Sticker charts, star of the week and diary sent home Shows- at special times of the year Newsletters are sent home to explain what we are doing at school If you are late and the door is shut please enter via the office- please don’t knock on the door.

5. Reception The curriculum and parents guide to the EYFS- please see hand-out ELG- Early Learning Goals. See handout Letter formation- please encourage correct letter formation at home. See handout Name practice- please have a go at home. In pack. Journals- sent on a Friday, please return on a Tuesday Learning high frequency words- please help your child at home Special books- children’s learning will be documented throughout the year in their special book. These will be shared with you at times, throughout the year

6. Please please... Parent and child voice- post it notes! Please use the post it notes provided- they are really useful to us. If you need any more please let us know. In pack. Parent reps… Most of these points are mentioned in the newsletter which is due at the end of this week.
