6 Office 365 Set-up 1.Go to Office 365 website: vcs2go.net. Students login with their VCS credentials (username: alpha ID – 1XXXX, password: birthdate - MMDDYYYY – unless students have changed this from their default). a)Raise your hand if you are unable to login 2.You will be prompted to set your preferred time zone for their mailbox (Eastern Time: US & Canada). Students click “Save.”

7 3.Go to OneDrive: tap boxes on bottom left of screen, tap Office 365…, OneDrive. 1.You may need to tap the menu bar (…) on the bottom right and use the switch to pc view. 4.Click the “Fill In” link on the first page that appears. 5.Edit the “About Me” section to include their first name and favorite subject. Once you save this information, you may still receive the message “We’re almost ready!” This screen may last between 5-20 minutes.

8 6.You can continue checking the “OneDrive” link at the top of the screen. 7.Once your accounts have been established, you should be able to click “OneDrive” and start creating documents. 8.To practice creating assignments: (One partner!) create a Word document. Name this document: a)Last Name_Mangrove b)Type in your intro

9 9.Use the Share feature to send me the document and your partner. 10. Once you’re done, log out of the application. Close all tabs in the Safari browser and force quit the app. To force quit the app, you double tap the home button until the menu of open apps shows. From there, they “swipe” the Safari browser up and tap the home button again.
