Subordination (the adverb clause) is the focus of this chapter.  Read / annotate Chap 27, p. 297-298 and complete the odd numbers of Ex 1 & 2, p.299- 302. The adjective clause is the focus of this chapter.  Read/annotate p. 303 and complete Ex. 3, p. 305. The special rules governing the use of who- whom is the focus of this part of the chapter.
