Let’s get started!

The “Container Billing” menu provides a list of container management functions and options. This menu is only available for WasteWORKS for Containers customers. Let’s take a look at program features, starting with the first item on the list, “Set up service locations”.

Using existing WasteWORKS customer accounts, service locations can be set up quickly and easily. This includes assigning contract pricing for all container related charges. Each customer can have as many locations as you choose and you can use this screen to assign specific roll-off containers. You can also add this location to a route and provide other details about this service location. Next, Let’s look at routing…..

WasteWORKS for Containers provides a simple and efficient routing function to schedule recurring jobs for certain days of the week and in a specified order and for each driver. Route sheets can be printed for your drivers and if you’d like to add room for more stops, the resequencing option allows you to “add air” for new stops.

After you have customer locations in place (and routes, if you use them), creating work orders for things like container deliveries and switch-outs is a snap! Drivers can take printed work orders with them and detailed instructions can also be included to make sure all work orders are completed to your specifications. When you’re ready to tell WasteWORKS that a work order is complete, they are simple to retrieve, update and finish.

By the way, WasteWORKS for Containers helps you keep track of exactly where all of your containers are located. New containers can be assigned at any point in the process– when setting up new locations, starting work orders, or when you complete them. And when switch-outs occur, WasteWORKS takes care of assigning new container numbers to the service location. The switched-out container simply returns to your inventory of available containers.

Container Billing Tickets are used for manually entering various container charges, such as tipping fees, switch-outs and deliveries. They are also used for completing work orders, as shown in this example. When drivers return to the office, work orders can be quickly retrieved and charges for external tipping fees can be added in the fields provided.

What if you also have your own landfill or transfer station and would like those fees posted to specific accounts and service locations?

No problem! By using a convenient lookup tool, transactions from your WasteWORKS scale house system can automatically be posted to the appropriate account and service location during ticketing. Customer invoices show container rental fees AND your site’s tipping fees all on one bill and grouped by service location (optional).

WasteWORKS for Containers makes it easy to post rental fees and recurring charges. Let’s take a look.

Recurring rental charges are simple to enter and can be prorated based on the number of days in the billing range. WasteWORKS for Containers also provides the option of creating “per day” rental charges. It’s up to you! All charges are printed on WasteWORKS invoices and separate invoices can be created for customers with multiple service locations.

How about billing ?

Whether you want to create invoices daily, weekly or monthly, WasteWORKS for Containers provides a solid and proven invoicing module for billing customers. All container charges, including rentals and tipping fees are included on the bill.
