AP Literature (College –Level Class) Analyze prose, fiction, poetry, & drama Write frequently --____ essays/week Demonstrate close reading, literary analysis, exposition of ideas, and understanding of literary forms & terms You will have the opportunity to take the AP Lit & Comp Exam in May with the possibility of earning college credit. This class receives a 1.0 GPA bump.

6. Dual Enrollment English 12 A joint venture between the hs & community college. May be required to pass entrance tests before gaining enrollment. The curriculum is approved by the community college and the teacher who delivers the instruction holds a master’s degree, a requirement for teaching a college- level class. Successful completion equals 6 credits at the community college. This class receives a.5 GPA bump.
