8 For your information Some verbs are not normally used in the continuous form, because they describe activities which already extend in time. These are called “state” verbs. Be, believe, cost, depend, have, know, matter, smell, suppose, taste, think, understand, want, like, love, hate, wish, remember, forget, hear, see, belong to, consist of

10 Present Perfect Настоящее совершенное время Сравним два похожих предложения: Я сделал уроки.( Не знаем, когда это произошло.) Я сделал уроки час назад. (Этот отрезок времени уже закончился.) Если речь идет о завершенных действиях, но не указывается, когда именно это произошло, употребляется Present Perfect.
