2 Signing on to Study Island Go to www.studyisland.comwww.studyisland.com Input your username & password

5 Creating your own classes You can choose to use school preferences or override them and set your own preferences You will add your students by clicking on their grade and then their name. You can select students from all the different grade levels Be sure to save There are 3 tabs @ the top of the page

9 This is where you will choose what type of assignment. Once you have chosen the type of assignment, click create assignment.

10 You fill in dates, assignment name, instructions for students, additional preferences and school preferences.

11 Here is where you will select a program to pull your questions from

12 Once you have chosen a program, you should get a screen similar to below. Click on a topic then click on Q to see questions for that topic.

13 When you are completed with topics you want to assign, Click Next students at the bottom right of your screen. You can then choose the students/classes to assign this to.

14 Activate an assignment Edit an Assignment Assignment Results Delete Assignment Icons to be familiar with for assignments & classes. Deactivate Assignment Assignment Locked

15 Parent Notifications

16 Click on View Built Test Library, select your program and click next, you will see all of your previous assignments you have created. There is a new legend at the bottom of the screen.

18 This is where you will choose what type of assignment. Once you have chosen the type of assignment, click create assignment. Writing Assignment

21 My E-mailed Reports You can automatically set up reports to be e-mailed to you.

22 Reports (School Stats)

23 Blue Ribbon Snapshot You can choose one of your classes to see which are your top 5 scoring students and which are your bottom 5 scoring students. This is a sample of a class that only has 2 students in it.

24 Teacher’s Lounge This is new to study island

25 Announcements This is where study island keeps us updated on important information and upgrades in regards to the program. They are continuing to make upgrades to the program & some will only start to be available in the fall.

26 Teacher’s Tool-Kit (Beta) NEW The Teacher Toolkit provides easy access numerous lesson plans, teacher videos, virtual science labs and project-based learning activities.

28 Live View From the class manager page, you can view the students who are working on study island and what topic they are working on during class.
