Smoking

5. Bypass surgery (Double bypass, triple bypass)
Diseased coronary arteries are “bypassed” with healthy arteries or grafts to increase the supply of oxygen to the heart.

6. Cardiac Arrest (Sudden cardiac arrest)
Heart stops beating
“shockable” and “nonshockable” cardiac arrest

7. Heart attack- a blocked vessel that leads to the heart itself
Stroke- a blocked vessel that leads to the brain
Aneurysm- a weakened blood vessel that explodes

8. High blood pressure
Diet high in sodium increases blood pressure….
