9 Keep it Short and Simple

10 Here is a very simple way to introduce and invite prospects to hear about Melaleuca: Hey __________________, I have been shopping with an International Health and Wellness Company called Melaleuca. Have you ever heard of it? They have a line of “green” cleaning products that are second to none along with a vitamin line that is the best on the market. I would love to share this company with you and am having a presentation on Monday and Tuesday. Which day works for you? Often, if I know that person is in to fitness, the environment or have small children, I will preface my introduction with, “I know fitness is a big part of your life and I thought of you because … I have been shopping with an International” … and so on. Just insert what fits them best. If I am looking at them to be a possible business builder I add something like … “Because you are a motivated, successful business person, I would love to show you a great business opportunity.” Keep it Short and Simple

11 DOs and DON’Ts of an IN-HOME

12 Approach to Set Appointments When inviting, ALWAYS do so via the telephone. NEVER invite by email, invitation or any other way. The day before the IN-HOME, confirm via telephone that they are attending. Please plan on beginning on time. You can serve light refreshments – Sustain drink and light snacks. We recommend serving Access/Attain Bars (cut up in bite-size pieces), Melaleuca cookies and Melaleuca crackers. This is NOT a party. Please do not serve additional food, etc. during the presentation. If you wish to serve other food, please wait until after the presentation is OVER and your guests have SIGNED UP. As a presenter, my job is to present, get people enrolled for you and leave. A presenter should be in and out of your home within 2 hours. Approach to Set Appointments When inviting, ALWAYS do so via the telephone. NEVER invite by email, invitation or any other way. 13 No alcoholic beverages. I have had disastrous presentations due to alcohol being served. If you want to serve alcohol, please wait until after the presentation is OVER and your guests have SIGNED UP. No dogs, no babies! Have your VALUE PACK displayed for your guests. Have order enrollment forms on clipboards as well as Membership Kits. After presentation is complete, STAY in the room with your guests and ask if you can help them with their order. Don’t make idle chit chat. Get down to why they are there. If they don’t want to enroll, please move to your next guest and help them with their order. No alcoholic beverages. 14 Posture yourself and be confident that bringing Melaleuca into their home is something they should do. PLEASE don’t ever say, “You don’t have to sign up if you don’t want to.” What is this saying about your confidence in this company and their products? If they are on the fence, say, “This is a great company to shop with when you make the decision to change your home over to a “green” home. You will be thankful you did!” I take my business with Melaleuca very seriously and want you to be a successful part of this team. Many of us have other part-time or full- time jobs and follow the guidelines as stated above. We don’t drink alcohol at work. We don’t take our babies or dogs to our other jobs. Your Melaleuca business is no different. I have children, pets and like to celebrate, but don’t make it part of my presentations. I look forward to working with all of you and teaching you how to build a great business with Melaleuca!!!
