Wednesday Night in the Word June - August

Eph 2:1-5 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) KJV.

Eph 6:4 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. KJV

Wednesday Night in the Word The Messiah Center The CHARACTER Test

Wednesday Night in the Word The Messiah Center Description: The character test is when you are surrounded by ungodliness that attempts to pull you in its direction. When you are tempted in the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Purpose: To show us the different areas of weakness in our own personality. God’s purpose and desire is for you to have strong, Godly character qualities in your life. In order to develop this Godly character, God puts you in fiery places so that you will learn to stand strong in Him. When God allows us in situations that require us to have patience, we realize that we MUST call on and depend on God’s grace in order to meet that need. God allows us to see the area of weakness that we have so that we can allow Him to work on it. This test exposes our TRUE INWARD SELF to us.

Character The stable and distinctive qualities built into an individual's life which determine his response regardless of circumstances. American Dictionary of the English Language Example: Character can have positive or negative associations. For instance, when someone is called a man of character, the unsaid adjective is a positive one. It means that he is ethically and morally upright and can be trusted.
