Example 1: That basketball players can jump so high you would have thought he was Muggsy Bogues. Example 2: When the power failed, the subway station became a dark and dismal underworld.

4. What is … A struggle or clash between opposing character or opposing forces. Internal conflict- a struggle within the character’s mind External conflict- a character struggles against another character.
