4 The students will be accommodated in multi- bedded dormitories with 6-12 beds with shared bathroom facilities close to the rooms. All bedding is provided. Rookesbury House is a stunning former stately home situated at the top of a hill amidst a 2000 acre private estate.

5 Typical Itinerary 7.15 amWake up, wash, brush teeth and make beds. 8.00 amBreakfast 9.00 amGet ready for your day! (Remember your water bottles!) 9.20 amYour instructor will meet you at your accommodation or your first activity point, are you ready? 9.30 amYour first activity begins. 11.00 amSecond activity begins. 12.30 pmLunch – You will need to go to your designated area. 1.20 pmYour instructor will meet you at your accommodation or activity point. Time for more fun! 1.30 pmYour third activity begins. 3.00 pmYour fourth activity begins.

6 4.30 pmFree-time* –Leaders, you may have something fun planned, or, you and the students can catch up with your friends in other activity groups. 5.20 pmArrive ready for your evening meal. 5.30 pmEvening meal. 6.30 pmFree-time* – Time to recharge before the evenings fun! 7.30 pmEvening begins. *9.00 pmReturn to rooms. Wash up, brush teeth and get ready for bed. *9.30 pmQuiet time in rooms. *10.00 pm Lights out. Time to sleep! Activities have not been allocated yet. We have selected the following as a preference: Abseiling, climbing, orienteering, raft building, kayaking.

7 Typical Menu Breakfast Fruit juice, cereal, toast or cooked breakfast, either bacon or sausage, eggs or beans, hash browns. A choice of tea or coffee Lunch Sandwich, piece of fruit, assorted biscuit, crisps and juice carton A choice of yoghurts or fresh fruit and fruit juice Dinner Cottage Pie, vegetable pie or beef casserole served with a choice of potatoes and vegetables Vegetarian options available Chocolate pudding with custard or fresh fruit salad Dietary requirements – forms completed. Information has been sent to JCA. Requirements such as vegetarian, Halal and allergies will be catered for.

9 Fire Drill This is held on your first day, you will be notified of time and assembly point on your arrival. Fire SafetyAll of our centres comply with UK standards. Site Security The site is fenced off with clearly defined parameters. Access to Public There is no access to the accommodation for the general public at this site during midweek breaks that take place Mon-Fri. JCA staff on Duty There will be a member of JCA staff on call 24 hours a day. Out of bounds areasThe managers and staff accommodation is out of bounds to groups. Other areas will be highlighted to your group during your tour. Safety and Security

10 A kit list has been sent out. If you need another copy of this please go to the school office. Please be aware that the kit list may change depending on which activities we are allocated. We will let you know as far in advance as possible. Please be aware that children must be able to carry their own kit. Kit List

11 Behaviour I am sure that all the children will be on their best behaviour and will represent the school in the best possible way. However, if any child displays any type of seriously inappropriate behaviour, you will be contacted and you will have to come and collect your child from the trip.

12 Thank you for completing medical forms. Mr. Price will be in charge of storing and administering medication whilst on the trip. All staff will be able to administer simple medication e.g. plasters. On the morning we leave you will need to give all medication to Mr. Price. It must be LABELLED! Medication
