3 Container Sharing Website Overview A new innovative communications tool to facilitate the identification and sharing of excess containers throughout the organization. Benefits industry & environment by: –eliminating warehousing for “inactive” containers. –eliminating waste through scrapping of “obsolete” containers. Provides a very simple bulletin board system “business lean”. – It is independent of complex accounting, shipping, billing, and inventory systems. Simple to implement and requires minimum maintenance. – The package includes fewer than 20 database driven web pages, including help, logging, and administration screens. Implemented globally within Delphi in August 2002.

4 Container Sharing - Features Displays List of Available Containers Displays Transfers Log E-mail Subscription set up Security & Authentication Posting Update & Revision feature Built-in Reference screens (container sizes, values etc) A “message broadcast” feature is included which allows users to send quick messages to all subscribed users Built-in Training/Help screens Built-in Feedback mechanism

5 Container Sharing- How it Works! User having excess containers uses a web form to post the availability of containers. An online viewable list reflects the availability of these containers. Users who choose to “subscribe” may receive automatic e-mail notification of the new posting. User who needs containers contacts owner offline and arranges transfer of containers. Originating user returns to web and logs the transfer update information.
