Shelly Waters3 Background cont… I was born at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC on April 16, 1987. I grew up in Summerville, SC-lived there for my entire childhood and through college. I went to a private school all through grade school and high school and then went to a private, Christian college. I played sports all through middle school and high school- volleyball, basketball, and softball. I also attended AWANA for several years at my school’s church. My sister and I are about 3 years apart. Like every other family, we had our sibling rivalry in middle and high school, but now that we are older, we are good friends. I loved growing up in Charleston/Summerville, SC and would not change that for anything!

Miniature Golf I am very competitive, so I love doing things that involve winning and losing…haha Bowling I am certainly not a professional bowler, but a night a bowling with friends is always fun. Movies Movies have always been my source of “escaping” for just a few hours. I like to watch a movie and just get lost in it and forget about all my worries just for a short time.

We stayed at an orphanage and had the opportunity to spend time with the kids there. We did a VBS for two hours each night and we had hundreds of kids show up. We helped clean and build new homes in the orphanage. We also got the opportunity to go out into the community and hand out tracks in the neighborhoods.
