2. My Rules! Do not speak while others are. Keep hands and feet to yourself. Respect others. Stay seated. Raise your hand to speak. Don’t touch others things.

3. How each rule works and the reason for the rules Do not speak while others are. I would like them to listen while the other students are talking because that is very rude. And I’m sure that they would not like it if someone was talking while they are. Keep hands and feet to yourself. They should not be touching nobody. Because they probably don’t want anyone to touch them. I would explain why its not okay for them to touch anyone. Respect others. Basically treat others how you would like to be treated. I would show them how it feels to be disrespected and how that’s not how you treat someone. Stay seated. You need to stay in your seat because if something happens while your out of your seat you might get blamed. And I would teach them this by probably letting them know that they will have 3 warnings then there will be a consequence. Raise your hand. The reason for this is because it is rude not to. And to teach them that that is the way to speak in class if you have something to say. Don’t touch others things. The reason for this is because if something goes missing and you were seen with it you will get blamed for it. And you would not want people touching your stuff.

5. Rational for my layout We would use the white board because it is a good way of teaching. And that is what most teachers use. The group tables because I like working in groups and it is easy. Also good for the kids to get to know each other. The problem child desk is useful when there is a student being disruptive or not behaving. And we need the bookshelf because the students are going to be reading a lot. And it could be a center. Also I will need my own desk because the teacher needs their space as well. And I would keep the supplies in the center of the table so the students don’t have to get up all the time to get it.

6. Rewards and Consequences Some rewards are if the student behaves the whole week without getting in trouble then they get to go it the treasure box. If a student does their homework then they get candy. If the student does a good deed then they get candy. If a student breaks one of the rules then they get a warning. If they do it again then they go to time out. And if they continue to do it then they might get a call home. If the student does something bad continually then they will get a call home or a referral.

Routines and Procedures Passing papers Leaving to go to the restroom Sharpening pencils Getting supplies and books Dismissing the class Turning in work Taking attendance I would ask a student if they would like to pass them out. The student would use a bathroom sign then take the BR pass. The student would be allowed to just get up and sharpen their pencil. The supplies would already be in the middle of the table. And if the student needs a book they would have to ask and check it out. They would stay seated until it is time to leave. The students would put it in a basket to turn in. I would take attendance quietly. And not yell out their names like most teachers do.
