24 We Need to Work Together O We cannot do this without parental help. O talk to their children to help them understand the negative impact of bullying and how to prevent it or respond to it O Please share with your child the importance of reporting to an adult/parent immediately if he/she is being bullied, either at school or on the Internet, on sites such as Facebook and MySpace. O Let your children know that you will not tolerate any bullying-type behavior they may be a part of. O Too often, schools learn about a bullying situation after it’s too late. O Let your teacher know early, we can work together as partners and take appropriate measures to stop the bullying. O Our priority is your child’s safety and well-being so that he/she can have the best possible educational experience.
