2 What to Expect in Pre-AP * More work doesn't mean more learning. * Learning is messy, interactive, and hurts your brain! * Everything we do, and I mean every single thing, should be considered a learning opportunity.

5 Bloom's Taxonomy While a complete education requires us to utilize all levels of questioning and thinking, remaining in what I like to call the "H.O.T. Zone" (Higher Order Thinking Zone) enables our kids to have the most beneficial and long lasting learning experiences. Most major assignments should incorporate some of the higher levels of thinking, including: Analysis, Synthesis, and Evaluation.
