1 What is it? What is it? Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, faculty- centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components. Colleges and universities across the country use the tools in developing, maintaining and reviewing their online courses and in training their faculty. QM standards are supported by best practices and the research literature, which is updated with every new rubric release. 21 Essential, 12 Very Important, 8 Important Standards F.A.Q.

Did the activities prepare them properly? 3.2 The course grading policy is stated clearly. In the syllabus Include categories and/or individual assessments, point values, percentage of total grade. 7 3.3 Specific and descriptive criteria are provided for the evaluation of students work and participation and are tied to the course grading policy. Rubrics! Detailed description of how collaborative work will be graded! 4.1 The instructional materials contribute to the achievement of the stated course and module/unit learning objectives. Every reading/video/web link should be related to an objective. 4.2 The purpose of instructional materials and how the materials are to be used for learning activities are clearly explained.
