Our world is divided into seven large land masses called continents. The seven continents are: North America South America Antarctica Australia Europe Asia Africa Most of the continents are divided into countries

4 NORTH AMERICA North America is divided into 23 countries
North America has the fourth largest population (501,500,000) North America is the third largest continent. North America is located in the Northern and Western Hemispheres

5 SOUTH AMERICA South America has the 5th largest population (379,500,000) South America has 12 countries. The equator lies in parts of South America It is the 4th largest continent It is home to the largest rain forest

6 ANTARCTICA THE FIFTH LARGEST CONTINENT LOCATED AT THE SOUTH POLE
IS COVERED BY ICE ALL YEAR LONG SCIENTISTS ARE THE ONLY HUMANS THAT LIVE ON THIS CONTINENT

7 EUROPE Europe is the 2nd smallest continent It has 46 countries
Russia is its largest country and Vatican City is its smallest country About 1/8 of the world’s population lives in Europe (727,000,000)

8 ASIA is the largest continent is home to over 3 billion people
contains over 44 countries is connected to Europe

9 AFRICA The second largest continent 53 countries Over 1000 languages
8 regions 877 million people Has the 2nd largest population Is home to the largest land animals in the world.

10 CONTINENT STORY North America married South America and they went away to a small private continent named Europe for their honeymoon. When they returned, they had 4 kids and each kid's (continent) name started with the letter A. The biggest kid (continent) has the smallest name.. Asia. Africa looks like a backwards F. The last 2 are Antarctica and Australia.
