2 Definition of a resume... A resume is an advertisement for yourself, designed to communicate your school and work history and skills in a way that motivates the employer to invite you for an interview. *

9 Objective Example Objective A resume objective is a statement of your goal for employment. Why are you giving them this resume? This is one place that you should definitely customize for each job! To obtain a position as a ___________ in a ___________company while continuing my education To obtain a position as a sales management trainee To provide prompt and courteous service to customers of a restaurant

11 Experience Employers know that you are high school students. If you do not have any previous work experience it is okay to leave this section off of your resume.
