spend 2 weeks per theme

Treasures Grade 2 Midterm Final Quizzes 20% Writing Projects 10% Homework & Assignments 15% Participation Responsibility 5% Tests 40%

9 Quizzes (20%) Given on every other Friday (10th day of the theme)
Will test grammar, spelling and vocabulary found in each unit Will be reviewed in class

10 Write a sentence with one of the vocabulary words.

Spelling, Vocabulary, Grammar & Practice Book Homework will be written in the communication book and will be online Signed by parents

13 Participation (10%) Encourages students to take charge of their learning Self assessment and teacher assessment

14 Responsibility (5%) Students need to learn to take responsibility for their actions Finish and hand in homework on time Ask parents to review and sign homework

15 Tests (40%) Will follow school schedule (during October and December)
