Page 9[Insert presentation title] EVALUATION CRITERIA  The evaluation criteria will be based on the following requirements:  Mandatory (Comply or Not Comply) bidders who do not meet the mandatory requirements will be disqualified.  Technical Functional Requirement (100 points).  Threshold to proceed to price and B-BBEE is 70.  Price and B-BBEE Evaluations (90/10 points).  Bidders who score less than 70 out of 100 on functional / technical criteria will not be further evaluated on Price and BEE.  EVALUATION CRITERIA AND METHODOLOGY RAF/2014/00026

Page 11[Insert presentation title] MANDATORY EVALUATION CRITERIA End MandatoryComplyNot Comply Failure by the RAF and the successful bidder to conclude a contract within 21 business days following the issuing by the RAF of the award letter to the successful bidder, will result in the bid being deemed to be non-responsive which will then entitle the RAF, at its sole discretion, to consider other responsive bids and award the tender to another bidder or bidders, please mark the appropriate box. Page 12[Insert presentation title] Technical Evaluation Criteria Functional criteriaPoints Experience of the company The bidder must have a minimum of three (3) years experience certified to install HP equipment. The bidder should include the list of projects undertaken in the previous three (3) years (the list should include contactable details). The lists of projects need to demonstrate that the bidder has the required years of experience. Experience of the resource The bidder must provide a resource (System Engineer) with the minimum of five (5) years experience and certified on installation of HP equipment (blades, servers, enclosures, 3 PAR storage, back library and network) Project Implementation Plan The bidder should provide project implementation plan which should include the following: Assemble, install and configure HP infrastructure equipment (servers, storage, backup and network) and HP-UX base operating system with cluster and virtualization. The implementation should not exceed six (6) weeks after delivery of equipment to the RAF. Skills transfer and Documentation The bidder should develop the skills methodology to transfer skills to a minimum of four (4) RAF engineers. The skills transfer methodology should include the following:  Skills transfer plan (4 points)  Handover process (4 points)  Detailed architecture document and Configuration document on sign off of installation (2 points) Bidders who score less than 70/100 on functional/technical criteria will not be further evaluated on Price and BEE. 20 40 30 10
