1. Top in US suicide ranking Chinese Americans top women suicide cases in the US, the Singtao Daily reported. About 20 out of 100000 Chinese American women kill themselves, 3 times higher than white women. Most of them are mentally depressed due to various family-related problems, local psychiatrists( 精神科医生 ) said.

2. Hen dung fuels Beijing grid China’s largest egg farm biogas power generation project has started operating in Beijing. The DQY biogas power plant （沼气发电厂） now runs two 1mw generating units based on hen waste, injecting green power into the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan power grid. It is reported that a hen could generate 7 kwh of electricity on average each year.

3. DPRK exits 6-Party Talks The DPRK said Tuesday it will withdraw from the 6-Party Talks in response to a UN Security Council presidential statement on its rocket launch. The DPRK will not fulfill any agreement reached in the nuclear talks any more, its foreign ministry said in a statement. It said that the DPRK will strengthen its nuclear power for self-defense purposes and restore the nuclear facilities that have been under the disablement process.

4. Japan PM leads the way Japan’s Prime Minister Taro Aso was caught by the public leading a group of pupils walking across a zebra crossing on a street in Tokyo Monday, Japanese media reported. The minister took the lead to observe traffic rules in a bid to raise children’s awareness of safe traffic habits. A week-long safe transportation campaign is being held in Japan.
