09/22/97 Product Overview

Product Index t Suction, Low Pressure (<200 psi) t Medium Pressure (<1000 psi) t High Pressure t Offline/Portable t Accessories

Suction, Low Pressure t 12AT/50AT t FT t RTB t RF4 t Moduflow t RF7

Disadvantages Must use relatively coarse media, or large housing size to keep pressure drop low. Cost is relatively high. Does not protect downstream components from pump wear debris. May not be suitable for many variable volume pumps Advantages Last chance protection for the pump. Much easier to service than a sump strainer. Suction Filter

Advantages Catches wear debris from components and dirt entering through worn cylinder rod seal before it enters the reservoir. Lower pressure ratings result in lower costs. May be in-line or in-tank for easier installation. Disadvantages Does not protect specific components No protection from pump generated contamination. Return line flow surges may reduce filter performance. Return Filter

Disadvantages Housing is relatively expensive because it must handle full system pressure. Does not catch wear debris from downstream working components. Advantages Specific component protection Contributes to overall system cleanliness level Can use high efficiency, fine filtration filter elements Catches wear debris from pump Pressure Filter

15/30P t 3000 psi MAOP (2000 fatigue) t Flows to 45 gpm t Anodized aluminum hsg. t SAE or manifold ports t 2000 & 3000 rated elements t Same indicators as CN series

Advantages Servicing is possible without loss of production. Fixed flow rate eliminates surges, allowing for optimal element life and performance. Fluid cooling may be easily incorporated. Continuous “polishing” of the main system fluid, even if the system is shut down Specific cleanliness levels can be accurately obtained and maintained. Supercharging can be incorporated Disadvantages No direct component protection. Initial cost is relatively high. Requires more space than system filter Off-line Filter

Guardian t 4 gpm t Geroter style pump t Integral relief t Visual indicator t Standard hose and wands

Filter Cart t 5 gpm (<3000 sus) t 10 gpm (<500 sus) t Excellent location for Par-Gel t Standard hose and wands t Two stage filtration

Reservoir Accessories t Suction Strainers t Filler Breathers t Diffusers t Temperature / Level Gauges

TriCeptor Breathers t Introduced January 1998 t Completes the “total system care” approach t Spin-on upgrade

TriCeptor Features Silica Gel Activated Carbon Foam Pad Molded Housing Foam Pads Filter Pads Air Intakes
