If you would prefer a hard copy or you do not have access to the internet, please see your guidance counselor. Bring Four Year Plans with your parents/guardians signature and Enrollment cards on February 21 st and 22 nd during your English classes. Make sure to think carefully about your alternative course choices. 9 Enrollment Supplement Sheet Use the enrollment sheet to decide which classes you would like to take After each heading is the type of credit that it is. Example: fine art, practical art, etc. You will transfer the Course number and Course name to your Enrollment card Core class selection is already provided to you, just check on the line.

12 The key to course selection is... Choose the most challenging courses available to you that you believe you can reasonably handle. College admissions counselors rank GRADES IN COLLEGE PREPARATORY COURSES as the single most significant factor in college admissions decisions followed by ACT or SAT test scores

14 Community Service Colleges and scholarship committees are looking to community service involvement as a very significant aspect of a student’s overall profile. Volunteer over the summer, look in the newspaper for opportunities.

18 A+ Scholarship You must –Have attended an A+ school for 3 consecutive years –2.5 g.p.a. at graduation –95% attendance or better for four years. –50 tutoring hours (12th grade) –maintain good citizenship and avoid the unlawful use of drugs (including alcohol) –Fill out and submit a FAFSA form in the spring of your senior year. –Register for the selective service (for males) –Algebra EOC of Proficient or Advanced. **You DO NOT need to have an A+ average in high school to receive this scholarship!!! **Free MONEY!!!
