5.  Moultrie Technical College currently uses Excel to manage their physical assets. With five campuses within a four county region, it has become difficult to effectively track their assets from a single set of spreadsheets.  This has created the need for a unified, globally accessible database-driven system. A feature that Moultrie has allocated is to facilitate an internal transfer or a location change, with an approval process.

15.  Experience with working on a project with deliverables, milestones, and an actual client.  Enhanced team-building skills.  Experience with what it is like to work for an actual business or company.  How to create a system that effectively stores and organizes data for the Moultrie Technical College and what it requires to sustain their system.  Learned valuable and applicable skills for everyday business problems and became more familiar with client interaction and database design and implementation.  Additional experience with Microsoft Access, building databases and developing query statements.
