2 Major Components 10 – Office Trailers (10x32) 2 – 75Kw Generators (w/all electrical) 1 – 40 Ft. Reefer Unit 1 – Fork Lift w/Operator 24/7 1 – Hand Washing Station 1 – Copy Machine P/A System and Briefing Stage 2 – 20x20 and 2 – 19x35 Tents

3 Contract Requirements Contractor guaranteed to be utilized on all Type 1 and 2 FS Incidents in Region 5 (may be utilized by other agencies) GACC places orders to contractor (one resource order #) statuses availability and rotation. Mandatory Availability Period (MAP) 6/1-11/30 (must be at bid location) Contractor provides all delivery, setup, maintenance and cleaning

5 Four Contract Locations NZ - Red Bluff, CA – All States Fire Support Services NZ - Placerville, CA – El Dorado Showers SZ - Manteca, CA – El Dorado Showers SZ - Bakersfield, CA – Western Fire Support

6 Costs Daily Rate ranges from $10,500 - $14,000 per day depending on the Contractor. Mileage rate from dispatch point to incident (varies by contractor). Costs for consumables varies by contractor Daily savings over R5 average EERA rates $6-8,000 per day.

17 S-450 Trivia S-450 in California 2004 had only 2 Federal students S-450 2005 in Missoula has seven qualified students from various regions. The rest are USCG

20 The Process - 2005 Four 5 person teams of Logistics Section trainees rotate on a two week cycle Mentor assigned to each team (LSC 1 or 2) Team and Mentor activated on each Type 1 or 2 incident

21 Qualifications & Selection Trainees must have at least one initiated taskbook in the Logistics Section. Priority for selection into the program is based on closest qualifications as a Logistics Section Chief Type 2 Only Federal agencies in California - 2005
