Philosophers lovers of wisdom Uses logic, or rational thinking, to explore and explain many subjects. They used the form of debate, or skillful speaking, in explaining their findings.

Socrates “Father of Philosophy” “Socratic method” asking questions and reflecting on answers. Was seen as a threat, questioning beliefs. He was put on trial and condemned to death.

Mythology Used Gods/Goddesses to explain natural events in life. Mount Olympus was home to all Gods/Goddesses. Greek myths (such as Iliad and Odyssey) provide us with heroic figures and adventure.
