New Business 350,000 men + three volunteer hours = ONE MILLION HOURS OF POWER Give a little, Change a Lot 1.Ask the teacher if they help with an upcoming project 2.Volunteer at a school event or in the classroom 3.Volunteer at a PTA event 4.Read to your kids, exercise with them, help them with their homework 5.Advocate for kids! Once you are done, log your hours. Go to PTA.org/millionhours to log in your activity and time after completion. It’s that simple!.

New Business Art Auction/Art Night Budget Ask - Erica Ridout True Art Auction (2009): made $3,565, spent $727 = $2,838 net gain Art Night (2010): made $1,733, spent $423 = $1,310 net gain Current Projected budget (2011): spend $1000 = $250 for art night, $750 for art auction/classroom projects income: $1,500 (net gain of $500)
