2 Education/Training What education is required? There are 3 classes that are required for nursing. The 3 classes that are required are a bachelors of science degree, an associate degree in nursing, and a diploma. Where would you get this education/training? It depends where I want to take school and where I want to be a nurse at. How many years of training/schooling are involved? There are four years of schooling involved for this job.

3 Job Skills, Talents, and Experiences What special skills, talents or personality traits are necessary for this occupation? You would have to be at work on time, be able to be organized and be ready to work. Where could you gain experience? I could gain experience from people who are going to be nurses or who are nurses. Or people that work at a hospital like my mom. In what ways are you suited for this career? I am organized and I will be ready to work.

You have to be a kind- hearted person. And do what your heart tells you what is right.

7 Typical Day What are the usual hours? The usual hours can be any where to 32 to 36 hours, but it depends what hospital you work at. What are the best parts of the day? Some people that the best days are when you pay off all of your hard work. Some other people say when the make a difference in someone else’s life.

8 Aptitude What personality traits, skills do you currently possess that would make you suited for this job? Good with helping and caring for people. What “real life” experiences have you had that have prepared you? I have been around a lot of first responders and firefighters because my dad is on the fire department. And I think it would be good to help people with their problems.
