Diploma programs and associate’s degree programs prepare graduates for entry-level nursing positions in hospitals and other healthcare settings. Many nurses with a diploma or associate’s degree later enter bachelor’s degree programs, so they can prepare to take on a broader range of roles. RNs with bachelor’s degrees are also qualified to work in community health promotion and disease prevention. Courses that may be required to take include anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry, nutrition, and psychology. Nursing students may also be required to take courses in liberal arts subjects What is necessary to become a registered nurse.

Maybe technology will take over the RN position but maybe far in the future. Could technology take over this job?

There is competition because many people want to be a RN and only the people with the most experience, knowledge and education will be hired. It also depends on where you live because of the demand of RN’s in that area might be high or low. Is there competition?

Yes there could be a chance, say I am a really amazing RN then I might get talked about somewhere, eventually I would get offered a job and I would take that job depending on how much more I get paid there. Registered Nurse

Paid Time Off - When you work a lot of hours and on days off you get paid those days. Health Insurance- Because you are in the business of healthcare, most Registered Nursing Jobs offer comprehensive health insurance plans for you and your family Dental/Vision Insurance- Normally offered at your option. Pension Plans- A pension plan is a retirement account where you get paid on a regular basis. The longer you are with a healthcare organization, the more money you can receive. Tax Savings Plans- These are also retirement accounts where you can contribute a portion of your salary to a savings account and the healthcare organization will match your contribution. For example, some hospitals will match 100% of 3% of your salary. This means if you make $100,000 per year and you contribute $3,000, the hospital will match it and turn it into $6,000 Life Insurance- Normally these plans offer a lump sum payment to family or friends in the event you have an accident. Normally the healthcare organization will pay for this in total. Tuition Reimbursement- Many healthcare organizations will reimburse registered nurses for 6 to 8 credit hours per semester. Therefore if you want to go back to school for an MBA or a Nursing Administration degree, it can be covered by the hospital. Adoption Assistance/Child Care- Both are normally offered by hospitals to assist families with their family needs. BENEFITS

In total, 13 courses would have to be taken. 8 biology courses; 3 physical science courses A marine’s salary is up to $45 to $110k but this depends on where you are located. This jobs outlook is high, it exceeds its demand for biologist. There are possibilities of future growth in this field. A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for entry-level positions in marine biology; however, competition is extreme and positions are typically obtained by those with advanced degrees. Marine biology is a combination of many life sciences, the more specialized training or experience one has, the more competitive one becomes. In order for me to become a marine biologist I would be obligated to move somewhere anyway, that wouldn’t be a problem. Marine Biologist
