6 Financial Aid Apps You need to go to: www.fafsa.ed.gov MSU School Code: 002360 FAFSA is the only Financial Aid Application you need to complete for MSU for Fall and Spring Transfer Students: Official Transcripts from all colleges attended are required before financial aid can be awarded

8 Financial Aid Disbursement (loans, grants & scholarships - excludes work-study) First Day of Classes - August 25, 2008 Actual financial aid processed is based on enrollment as of: August 29, 2008. Financial aid applied to your University charges first, then whatever is left over is disbursed to you First disbursement date for Fall Semester: September 5, 2008. Fall & Spring Semester option for eligible students: Charge textbooks and supplies against your financial aid overage or include in a FACTS payment plan (up to $500 maximum) at the campus Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Email sent to eligible students.

23 Email Address Communication / Notices firstname.lastname@mnsu.edu Email is the University’s official means of communication to students. Each student is provided with a university email address (firstname.lastname@mnsu.edu), which is where all university email is directed.firstname.lastname@mnsu.edu Targeted email notices are sent regularly from the Campus Hub. Students are expected to open, read and respond to messages sent via email from university offices and departments. Students have the ability to forward messages to a different email address - be aware of potential fowarding issues.

45 Take Care of Your MavCard Please don't bend your MavCard excessively, ATM machines and MavCASH readers don't like bent or cracked MavCards. Please don't wash your MavCard in a washing machine, it may look cleaner but it may not work as well after such a clean ride. Please don't put holes in your MavCard to attach your keys or anything else, you could damage the barcode, cash stripe, proximity wires or bank stripe. Keep your MavCard away from magnetic fields that may demagnetize it. Please don't use your MavCard as an ice scraper...your MavCard has many functions, but this isn't one of them.
